Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions outlined are designed to ensure customers of THE PRINTS OF WALES can browse and shop with confidence. THE PRINTS OF WALES will always strive to provide garments of the highest quality and design.

Pricing

Any prices used are Pounds Sterling and do not include VAT at the current rate as determined by government.

Packaging and delivery charges to a single UK address will be shown on the website whenever incurred. Prices may be subject to change without notice. We will, however, only alter the price when your order is confirmed. Occasionally customers may require undecorated garments. It may be possible, in these cases to arrange direct delivery from the manufacturers or suppliers. Please contact THE PRINTS OF WALES for further details.

Overseas Customers

Overseas visitors are welcome to use our website, however, prices will incur VAT which is a UK sales tax. VAT may not be payable under certain circumstances, however, additional costs for delivery may be applied. You can contact THE PRINTS OF WALES via the website for assistance or clarification in this matter.

Payment

Payment for goods for all non-account holders will be at the point of order confirmation. Occasionally customers will be able to pay on collection of goods but only by prior agreement. Customers with an agreed account will be invoiced. All invoices will clearly state a payment due date. We reserve the right to charge interest at the current bank base rate plus 2% on overdue accounts. Direct bank transfers via BACS can be arranged. Orders sent through the post or via courier must be paid in full before dispatch of goods. Please do not send cash through the mail.

Order Acceptance

When an order is placed it will be treated as an offer to buy and once accepted we will send you an email confirmation, at this point we are making a legal contract with you. There are occasions, if necessary, that we may refuse your order in which case we will advise you by email as soon as possible.

On receipt of your email confirmation an opportunity will exist to check the details and correct any errors. THE PRINTS OF WALES also reserves the right to contact various agencies to confirm identity or check credit rating.

Products & Availability

Products shown and described on our website may not always be in stock. In the event of this situation, an estimated delivery time will be provided, or an alternative product offered. It should be noted that delivery dates quoted are estimates and do not constitute a contractual obligation by THE PRINTS OF WALES to provide garments by a certain date.

Every effort has been made to display the products offered as accurately as possible, however, the colours you see will depend upon the settings on your monitor. All sizes given are provided by the manufacturers and are approximate for guidance only.

Delivery

Delivery is a single drop to a UK mainland address. Deliveries to the Channel Islands will incur additional costs. Any additional costs will be advised by e-mail or by telephone. Enquiries from elsewhere are welcome, however, contact should be made to establish shipping costs.

Deliveries within the UK mainland are contracted to outside carriers whose normal delivery times are Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5.00pm. Delivery outside these times can also be arranged, however, additional costs will be charged. All deliveries must be Goods Damaged in Transit signed for and it is advisable that you keep your delivery receipt.

Goods Damaged in Transit

All goods are securely packed and leave our warehouse in perfect condition. Unfortunately from time to time damage does occur in transit. In the event that your goods show obvious signs of transit damage please refuse delivery and notify us immediately. If the damage is only visible after opening the carton you must inform THE PRINTS OF WALES within 48 hours. In either case THE PRINTS OF WALES will arrange replacement garments as soon as possible. Please note that additional garments will have to ordered and decorated and therefore replacement can take a while.

Faulty Goods

We undertake that the goods will, in all material respects, comply with any general description, which may be submitted to you, will be of satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for normal usage. In the event that this is not the case, THE PRINTS OF WALES should be notified in writing of the fault within 10 days of their receipt.

Returns

No returns will be accepted without prior agreement from THE PRINTS OF WALES. No liability will be taken for the cost of returning goods, unless agreed by THE PRINTS OF WALES.

Cancellation

The Company will accept cancellations on the understanding that no costs have been incurred. In the event that your order has been processed an artwork/origination cost plus a re-stocking charge will apply.

The terms and conditions are clearly marked on the website. It is assumed that customers will have read and accepted the terms and conditions.

Work on customer supplied items.

Occasionally we will undertake work on customers own items. This is clearly on the understanding that no responsibility is accepted for any errors, mishaps or damaged caused to the customer’s items whatsoever.

This will be clearly pointed out to the customer before any work is undertaken and will only be undertaken on this basis.

Samples

We are happy to provide undecorated samples of garments for customers to assess colour, quality and sizing. Any samples including postage must be paid for prior to despatch.

Alternatively, we are happy to invite customers to our premises to discuss requirements, see samples of garments and samples of work. In order to best serve visiting customers and devote enough time it is vital that any visits are arranged by telephone or e-mail prior to visiting.

Designs

THE PRINTS OF WALES retains copyright of all artwork or digitised designs created on behalf of customers.Any charges applied are for the administration of the designs only.The Prints of Wales retains the rights to all designs and do not release designs to any third parties.

Customers who bring or send designs for printing or embroidery have full responsibility for copywrite and it is assumed that copywrite for such designs has been secured by the client for the use of that design or designs from the original designer or owner of the design.

The conditions published above do not affect your Statutory Rights.
