All our embroidery designs are stitched with the latest computer controlled automated embroidery machines here at our own business premises. We do not send embroidery work out to be done elsewhere.
WHAT IS TRANSFER PRINTING?
Transfer Printing is great for single colour designs, individual names, and numbers.
Used extensively on Sportswear eg: Football shirts and commonly used on Hen and Stag and Tour garments.
There are a huge array of colours available ranging from standard colours, high visiibilty and Florescents.
Each design is cut out from a sheet of transfer vinyl using a machine, it is then placed over the garment and heat sealed at high temperature. Modern vinyls are very tough and durable and bond very firmly to the garment and with a little care will last a long time.
Transfer printing is the most economic form of printing for smaller quantities or combined with embroidery to personalise individual garments.
NEED THE GARMENTS PRINTED AS WELL?
We are happy to combine embroidery and printing on garments and can add individual names, numbers or text. Please see our printing section for more details.
TRANSFER ARTWORK GUIDE
HOW DO I SEND MY ARTWORK?
For transfer printing artwork needs to be sent to us in a vectorised format. Because everything is cut out by a machine the lines need to be very precise, and this can only really be achieved by using a vector.
We also require all text to be converted to outline as we only have a limited selection of fonts!
WHAT IS A VECTOR IMAGE?
A full explanation of vector formats can be found in our screenprinting section
If you don’t have your image in a vectorised format we do offer a service to redraw your artwork, please contact us for more information.
